" For sooner or later, we older people are going to take off the armor, and hand it back into the hands of our children, and walk up that golden stairway."
Rev. William Branham- excerpted from the sermon "Who is This?"
"I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the Word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one."  1 John 2:14

What will you Say to Jesus?

So many professed Christians live their lives in one of two ways:

1.) They either have no real experience with God and live only to please themselves or 2.) they follow a religious tradition and never experience the “new birth” that Jesus said is necessary to enter heaven (John 3: 5). Regular attendance to church or participation in any form of worship is no guarantee of salvation-many very religious priests, popes, potentates and church members will end up in hell with men like Hitler and Mussolini.
So what really matters in life? The Bible clearly gives us the answer in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

Every human being that ever lives has an appointment with God after this life is over. What will you say to Jesus, who will judge your life by the standards He set in His Bible (Acts 17:31)?

Will you have lived your life the way He wants you to? The small lies you told that you thought no one knew, the doubts that you left unconfessed in your heart, the vulgar-what excuse will you give before Him who knows the very secrets of your heart?

We live in a world of acceptance-a world that does not separate right from wrong but allows everyone to do what seems right in their own eyes. While accepting others of differing thoughts is often good, God does not change His standards to suit your desires. Repent of your sins and confess your need of Jesus Christ’s mercy, love and forgiveness if it may still be found. Beg God for His Holy Spirit to change you and make you a new creation in Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). God is not so hard to reach as many churches make it seem-He is not interested in your memberships, your good works or anything else you can do; He is interested in a repentant, contrite heart (Ps. 51:17).
The coming of the Lord Jesus is at hand-what will you say when you meet Him? Are you ready if you should face Him before the morning? Acts 2:38 gives the only formula needed for salvation:
“…Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Will you say “yes” to Jesus Christ today?
